Facebook Danai Perang Israel vs Gaza ??

Kalian join d facebook y? Mau tau fakta ttg facebook?
Here is his/her remark:
N/AFacebook Biayai Perang di Gaza, Israel Vs Palestina. Kombes.Com?
Posted By admin On January 13, 2009 (3:57 pm) In Artikel, BeritaFenomena facebook begitu gempar di Indonesia, sampai-sampai ada facebook dalam bahasa indonesia.
What is Alpha Epsilon Pi? baca artikel ini.
Alpha Epsilon Pi adalah seperti perkumpulan mahasiswa yahudi di amerika utara, yang mempunyai misi sebagai berikut, Alpha Epsilon Pi, the Jewish Fraternity of North America, was founded to provide opportunities for Jewish men seeking the best possible college and fraternity experience. We have maintained the integrity of our purpose by strengthening our ties to the Jewish community and serving as a link between high school and career. Alpha Epsilon Pi develops leadership for the North American Jewish community at a critical time in a young man¢s life. Alpha Epsilon Pi¢s role is to encourage the Jewish student to remain dedicated to Jewish ideals, values, and ethics and to prepare the student to be one of tomorrow¢s leaders so that he may help himself, his family, his community, and his people.

Einstein's Letter

In November 2008 papers were deposited relating to the Salaman family which included two Einstein letters. These provide insights into the life of Esther Polianowsky Salaman, wife for 68 years of Dr Myer Salaman, eldest son of RN Salaman FRS (1935), and a pupil of Einstein in Berlin from 1922-1925.
Esther was a remarkable woman. In 1917 she had been accepted to study mathematics at Kiev University, but her father would not allow her to leave home. At the age of nineteen she left Russia to escape from the Revolution and joined a group of pioneer settlers in Palestine. At the end of the summer of 1922 she went to Berlin, and through a friend met Einstein who agreed to sponsor her to the Physics Faculty at the university and who became one of her professors royalsociety.org

It was also Einstein who advised her to leave Germany after graduating and go to Cambridge. So in 1925 knowing no English but with a recommendation from Albert Einstein to Sir Ernest Rutherford, she came to Cambridge and was helped to take up a research studentship at the Cavendish Laboratory by the philanthropist Redcliffe Salaman. Through him she met and married Myer Salaman. In one of these letters Einstein regretfully declines her invitation to visit because of a persistent heart problem which prevents him from coming to Cambridge.

Microprocessor

Microprocessor, electronic circuit that functions as the central processing unit (CPU) of a computer, providing computational control. Microprocessors are also used in other advanced electronic systems, such as computer printers, automobiles, and jet airliners.

The microprocessor is one type of ultra-large-scale integrated circuit. Integrated circuits, also known as microchips or chips, are complex electronic circuits consisting of extremely tiny components formed on a single, thin, flat piece of material known as a semiconductor. Modern microprocessors incorporate transistors (which act as electronic amplifiers, oscillators, or, most commonly, switches), in addition to other components such as resistors, diodes, capacitors, and wires, all packed into an area about the size of a postage stamp.

A microprocessor consists of several different sections: The arithmetic/logic unit (ALU) performs calculations on numbers and makes logical decisions; the registers are special memory locations for storing temporary information much as a scratch pad does; the control unit deciphers programs; buses carry digital information throughout the chip and computer; and local memory supports on-chip computation. More complex microprocessors often contain other sections—such as sections of specialized memory, called cache memory, to speed up access to external data-storage devices. Modern microprocessors operate with bus widths of 64 bits (binary digits, or units of information represented as 1s and 0s), meaning that 64 bits of data can be transferred at the same time.

A crystal oscillator in the computer provides a clock signal to coordinate all activities of the microprocessor. The clock speed of the most advanced microprocessors allows billions of computer instructions to be executed every second.

Robot

Robot, computer-controlled machine that is programmed to move, manipulate objects, and accomplish work while interacting with its environment. Robots are able to perform repetitive tasks more quickly, cheaply, and accurately than humans. The term robot originates from the Czech word robota, meaning “compulsory labor.” It was first used in the 1921 play R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots) by the Czech novelist and playwright Karel Capek. The word robot has been used since to refer to a machine that performs work to assist people or work that humans find difficult or undesirable.

The concept of automated machines dates to antiquity with myths of mechanical beings brought to life. Automata, or manlike machines, also appeared in the clockwork figures of medieval churches, and 18th-century watchmakers were famous for their clever mechanical creatures.

Feedback (self-correcting) control mechanisms were used in some of the earliest robots and are still in use today. An example of feedback control is a watering trough that uses a float to sense the water level. When the water falls past a certain level, the float drops, opens a valve, and releases more water into the trough. As the water rises, so does the float. When the float reaches a certain height, the valve is closed and the water is shut off.

The first true feedback controller was the Watt governor, invented in 1788 by the Scottish engineer James Watt. This device featured two metal balls connected to the drive shaft of a steam engine and also coupled to a valve that regulated the flow of steam. As the engine speed increased, the balls swung out due to centrifugal force, closing the valve. The flow of steam to the engine was decreased, thus regulating the speed.

Feedback control, the development of specialized tools, and the division of work into smaller tasks that could be performed by either workers or machines were essential ingredients in the automation of factories in the 18th century. As technology improved, specialized machines were developed for tasks such as placing caps on bottles or pouring liquid rubber into tire molds. These machines, however, had none of the versatility of the human arm; they could not reach for objects and place them in a desired location.

The development of the multijointed artificial arm, or manipulator, led to the modern robot. A primitive arm that could be programmed to perform specific tasks was developed by the American inventor George Devol, Jr., in 1954. In 1975 the American mechanical engineer Victor Scheinman, while a graduate student at Stanford University in California, developed a truly flexible multipurpose manipulator known as the Programmable Universal Manipulation Arm (PUMA). PUMA was capable of moving an object and placing it with any orientation in a desired location within its reach. The basic multijointed concept of the PUMA is the template for most contemporary robots.
